YOUR REOPENING: Prepare Your Staff and Patients
As you begin the careful reopening of your aesthetic services office, it is imperative to take the time to reassure your staff and patients on your “elevated safety and risk-mitigation” practices. Staff must be able to effectively communicate with patients on exactly what additional steps you have in place for everyone’s safety and health. We encourage you inform your staff of the steps you have in place. Make sure to quiz and role play with the staff.
PUMC can assist you with safety reopening messages and staff training! Call or email us, we can help!

Reassurances on The Health and Safety of Patients
- Prior to scheduling a patient, we are doing a health screening and we will rescreen at the time of their appointment
- All patients will have a temperature screening and if their temperature is elevated their appointments will be rescheduled.
- If a patient is having any type of illness, we will reschedule the appointment.
- We have left extra time between patient appointments to allow more time to clean treatment rooms between patients.
- We are limiting the number of patients in our reception area.
- All patients will receive a specific time they are scheduled and asked to remain in their vehicles until they receive a text message or call from our staff to enter
- We have hand sanitizers available throughout the office.
- Our reception area and exam rooms are cleaned before new patients use them.
- Visitors or guests are asked to remain in their car.
- Patients are required to wear masks when inside our office. We will provide masks for patients who do not have masks
- Staff wear masks and gloves
- Staff put on new glove on each time they see a new patient
- Our receptionist will bring consent forms to patients and offer “no touch” and safe form completion
