Boost your content with images to stand out to patients! Whether you are using email, video or posting in social media, a picture really is worth a thousand words. PUMC clients tell us that they can’t use pictures because they don’t have any. “Yes, you can.” You simply need to know where to look.
Boost Your Content with Images of Your Own
Take pictures of your products. If your office is well-lit, ask your patients if you can take pictures during some of their non-invasive treatments. Most smart phones have great cameras. You know how important before & after pictures are for your plastic surgery practice. Other pictures are just as necessary. Don’t worry about being a professional – just snap some pictures to use in social media and marketing.
Ask Suppliers for Pictures
Many of your suppliers and product manufacturers have extensive websites, social media pages, etc. Talk to them about using some of their pictures for your events, sharing in social media and on your website. Most will agree. We don’t recommend using supplier photos exclusively because others use them too. However, they are great to blend in with your own photos to boost your content with images.
Create Your Pictures
Is someone in your office good with technology? With just a little basic knowledge, many people can create memorable “message” images or photo collages. Don’t spend a lot of time trying to create your own photos, but throw something together when an idea strikes. This is a fun way to boost your content with images.
Buy Some Photos
If you’re looking for a special background or grouping, check out some inexpensive photo websites. Often, you can buy just what you need for just a dollar or two. This is another way to add different types of pictures for your files.
Ask Your Marketing Agency
Your marketing agency should have many resources for pictures. Ask them about purchasing pictures or having professional pictures taken. With their guidance, you can create a picture collection that has depth and resonates with patients.
