- Follow HIPPA regulations to ensure that you and/or your staff guard patient privacy.
- Help others. It’s ok to include a call to action on some of your posts, but adding one to every post is too salesy.
- Use videos for testimonials, product/procedure introductions and trends. With today’s tablets and smart phones, it’s easy to capture short videos. These are great for social media advertising.
- Do a photo shoot. Stock images are ok, but creating your own images can optimize your brand. Plus, you can use them on your website, social media, email marketing, print, etc.
- Integrate your content to boost online visibility. When you post a blog, you can promote it on your social media channels, your email campaigns, posters in your office and more.
- Create buzz with specials or giveaways on social media pages. It’s a good way to get engagement.
- Encourage your staff and vendors to participate in your social media. When they reshare on their personal channels, you widen your audience.
- Use trending hashtags. Check to see what’s trending so that you can use the best hashtag to stand out.
- Add one social media channel at a time. Results are rarely great when you try to take on too much at once.
- Analyze your results. Then, tweak what isn’t working. Social media isn’t all about likes. Much of it is about awareness. You’ll want to look at post reach, engagement and results questions/calls.
